For more than 20 years I’ve cared for patients from all over Los Angeles at Synergy Natural Medicine Clinic in the wonderful community of Monrovia, California.  My practice has been full for as long as I can remember — and even then it has never quite been enough to serve the local community.   

 

I love taking care of my patients and will probably practice another 20 years.  However, I would like to gradually start to reduce my hours in practice at the Clinic. To do that responsibly, I hope to welcome one or two independent Naturopathic Doctors who would like to establish their own practices while sharing a professional medical office environment.

 

Like many Naturopathic Doctors, some of my care now happens virtually — yet many patients still prefer or need consultations, therapies or other services from a medical office.  This is an opportunity to use the Clinic when you need it, while maintaining your own practice in a shared, collegial and professional environment, serving our community.

 

The kind of doctor we’re hoping to welcome

 

We have found the greatest need in this community is for a Naturopathic Doctor practicing modern, integrative naturopathic medicine — someone grounded in core naturopathic principles while comfortable working within a contemporary clinical setting, including appropriate use and management of prescription medications when indicated. The focus is general naturopathic care rather than a narrow specialty.

 

Areas of particular demand include:

• digestive and gastrointestinal concerns

• women’s health and hormonal care

• general and family naturopathic care

• chronic condition management

• lifestyle-based and preventive medicine

We are certainly open to physicians with additional therapeutic skills or special interests; however, the primary goal is to help meet the demand for general naturopathic care in the community.

 

Build your practice at Synergy — a shared clinical home

 

The intention is a calm, well‑equipped space where each doctor maintains a fully independent practice while sharing a welcoming place to see patients when in‑person care is needed.

You are not joining my practice. You are building your own, with a ready clinical home base, supportive front‑desk staff and other services.

Many of us now practice partly online, yet physical exams and personal connection still matter. My hope is to create a small “hive” — a few doctors who value autonomy but appreciate practicing alongside trusted colleagues.  Having another Naturopathic Doctor that can provide collegial support and availability for patients is a big relief for most solo NDs.

 

Appointments you conduct virtually or with patients outside of the clinic remain entirely your independent business and are not associated with the Clinic. Likewise, you maintain your own patient relationships, records, and scheduling decisions.

 

The space is available part‑time at an hourly rate for general use, or for as short as 15 minutes for short appointments. Because you use the Clinic only when you need it, you can take time away — even a 2-3 week vacation — without carrying the overhead of a full‑time office and staff.

 

Synergy Natural Medicine Clinic

 

Synergy has been part of the Monrovia and San Gabriel Valley community since 2003 and the Clinic has been recently updated. You would have shared use of the facility, along with Dr. Wicher, with enough space for up to 2 NDs to practice at a time at the Clinic.

 

We maintain a well‑stocked on‑site dispensary available for patient convenience, while you remain completely free to use online dispensaries (such as Fullscript) or any other method you prefer for providing supplements.  The Clinic is also set up for IV therapy and injection therapy.

 

Patients arrive to a comfortable waiting area, ample parking, and a quiet community setting intended to feel calm and welcoming for both Doctor and patient. Photos are provided, so you can get a sense of the space.

 

The Community

 

Monrovia sits just east of Pasadena at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains — with sunshine most of the year, hiking and biking trails are just minutes away, in a welcoming neighborhood feel within greater Los Angeles.  Over 100,000 people live within 3 miles of our Clinic and about 500,000 people within 6 miles.
