Naturopathic Therapies at Synergy Natural Medicine Clinic

Most patients' treatment plans include a variety of naturopathic therapies based on what is most effective for a particular health condition.  They often include changes to diet & lifestyle, medicines such as dietary supplements and herbs, at home-therapies, and referrals to other practitioners as needed.  In a patient's treatment plan, we may also recommend various advanced naturopathic therapies we provide at our Clinic.

Common In-Office Therapies

B12 Shots

B12 helps the body mobilize protien, fats and carbohydrates.  B12 shots are used for treating a range of conditions from mild deficiencies that can cause anemia, tiredness, weakeness and depression to more advanced deficiencies that, long-term, can cause neurological problems, numbness, difficult walking, memory loss and dementia.

Vitamin and Mineral IVs

We administer vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids into the bloodstream intravenously to treat underlying deficiencies and strengthen the body's natural defenses.  IV therapy bypasses the digestive system, so nutrients are delivered more efficiently and at higher concentrations than can be achieved orally.

IV Vitamin C

Intravenous Vitamin C can raise blood levels of vitamin C, 50x to100x higher than can be achieved orally.  High blood levels of Vitamin C can bolster the immune system and help the liver eliminate toxins from the blood more efficiently.  It's indicated for a variable of health problems from arthritis to infections and cancer.

IV Hydrogen Peroxide

IV hydrogen peroxide has been shown to kill or severely inhibit the growth of anaerobic organisms in the blood (viruses/ bacteria).  It also neutralizes toxic substances in the blood and improves the body's detoxifying pathways , making it easier for the kidneys and liver to process  them.

Common uses for IV therapy

  • Bacterial, viral & fungal infections

  • Recovering from a cold/flu, illness or surgery

  • Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, spasms and headaches/migraines

  • Cancer and other chroinic health conditions

  • Age related diseases and disorders

  • Gastrointestinal disorders and diseases

  • Health maintenance and enhanced athletic performance

  • Allergies, asthma and food sensitivities

Ozone Therapy

Ozone Therapy involves the use of medical grade ozone that creates a curative effect on the body. Ozone therapy can be delivered rectally/vaginally and into the soft tissue, but it is most often done intravenously by mixing a small amount of blood with ozone.  Ozone therapy activates the immune system, improves cellular utilization of oxygen and causes the release of growth factors that stimulate regeneration.  It's used to treat a variety of health conditions including, cystitis, infections, hepatitis, herpes, infections, lyme disease, diabetes/diabetic ulcers, macular degeneration and damaged joints and discs.

Prolotherapy (a.k.a sclerotherapy) & Prolozone

Prolotherapy and Prolozone are injection techniques that stimulate your body's natural healing responses.  Prolotherapy utilizes dextrose and vitamins injected into the ligament or tendon, which causes a localized inflammation response and promotes healing.  Prolozone utilizes ozone and homeopathic anti-inflammatories injected near the joint area to establish better circulation and oxygenation, which promotes healing.  Prolotherapy and prolozone are used for a wide variety of orthopedic problems, from generalized joint pain and sports/work injuries to arthritis and degenerative joint conditions.

Escarotic Treatment

Escarotic treatments are a therapy for women diagnosed with cervical dysplasia.  Bromelain, a naturally occurring enzyme is applied to the cervix to break down the cell wall of abnormal cells over a series of visits.  It's safe, effective and affordable for cases of mild to moderate cervical dysplasia.  Please contact us if you have specific questions regarding escarotic treatments.
